1. Do I need to apply for this licence in order to carry out fumigation work?
   In Singapore, fumigation by means of Methyl Bromide, Hydrogen Phosphide and/or Hydrogen Cyanide, is carried out by fumigators licensed by National Environment Agency (NEA). Every fumigation work in Singapore requires a fumigation permit from NEA.
2. What are the requirements of a fumigation Permit?
   Companies who have fumigators licensed by NEA to carry out fumigation by means of Hydrogen Cyanide, Methyl Bromide and/or Hydrogen Phosphide.
3. How soon can my application be processed?
   Please be informed that due to technical issues and high volume of applications received, a slightly longer processing time may be expected during this period. We seek your understanding and patience during this challenging period, as we work to improve our system services. Applications that are submitted after 2pm may not be approved on the same day.
4. What are the approved fumigants in Singapore?
   Currently, Methyl Bromide, Hydrogen Phosphide and Hydrogen Cyanide are approved fumigants in Singapore.
5. Can foreign licenced fumigator do fumigation in Singapore?
   Only NEA licenced fumigator can do fumigation in Singapore.
6. How much does fumigation permit cost and how long is it valid?
   The Fumigation Permit costs S$45.00 and is valid 15min within the stated fumigation time in the Permit.
7. What are the payment modes available to make payment for this licence?
   (a) Card Payment Online in the GoBusiness Portal
   (b) AXS kiosks, e-Stations and m-Stations
8. When can I make payment?
   You may make payment after the application is approved.
9. When will I receive the permit?
   The permit will be send to the stated email once the payment is received.
10. When must I make the payment?
    You must make the payment before the fumigation started.
11. Do I need to cancel the permit if the fumigation is not carry out?
    You are advised to cancel the permit if the fumigation is not been carried out.
12. Will there be a refund for cancelled permit?
    No refund will be made.
