Application Details
For carrying out any form of arts entertainment such as plays, stand-up comedies, dance performances, music performances (such as variety shows and concerts), art exhibitions and literary readings (such as play-readings and poetry-readings), unless exempted. Find out more here.

Licence Fee: $10 or $5 per day depending on event type

Plays, play-readings and poetry recitals
- Synopsis
- Finalised script. For scripts in a foreign language, English translations are to be provided.
- Multimedia material. The picture and sound should be clear and of good quality. Video footage in a foreign language is to be accompanied by subtitles.

Concerts and variety shows
- Detailed programme schedule
- Layout plan of the event location
- Set list and lyrics for all songs. For lyrics in a foreign language, English translations are to be provided.

Unscripted performances e.g. dance, performance art, stand-up comedies, playback or forum theatres
- Synopsis
- Completed Content Checklist for unscripted and multidisciplinary performancesin which relevant information about the works should be provided (e.g. performance score, stage direction, talking points, etc.)
- Rehearsal video or video of past performances where available
- Multimedia material [As above]

Muti-disciplinary arts performances
- Synopsis
- Completed Content Checklist for unscripted and multidisciplinary performances
- Detailed programme schedule, including the title and duration of each performance and name(s) of artist(s)
- Finalised script
- Set list and lyrics for all songs. For lyrics in a foreign language, English translations are to be provided.
- Layout plan of the event location
- Photographs/ Images of exhibits
- Rehearsal videos or videos of past performances where available

Requirements
Any individual or Singapore-registered business entity or organisation may apply for an Arts Entertainment Licence.
As the applicant, you can apply personally, or authorise someone to apply on your behalf.
Note
The applicant and the authorised person (if applicable) must be one of the following:
- A Singapore citizen.
- A Singapore Permanent Resident.
- A foreigner with a valid Singapore work pass.
- You should be an employee, perferably a member of the organisation's management.
- You will need to provide the organisation's Unique Entity Number (UEN), issued by a recognised UEN Issuance Agency (such as the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) or Registry of Societies (ROS)).
